Development Environment
The majority of our applications are developed using the Microsoft .Net platform (C#, VB.Net
and ASP.Net) for use on PCs with Windows operating systems. We also maintain legacy systems
developed using Microsoft Access and ColdFusion.

Hosting, Maintenance and Tech Support
You may be wondering what special equipment, software, or IT personnel maybe required to
run a web-based system. KEC offers full hosting, maintenance and tech support agreements
with each application. Our systems are housed within the Texas A&M University server farm,
which has built-in redundancy and scheduled nightly back-ups. The facility is secured 24-hours
a day, and has access to the University’s network connection ensuring maximum uptime so that
your applications are always available. A low annual fee covers the space for your data within
our servers, server maintenance and upgrades, bug fixes and access to phone and email tech support.
