The Knowledge Engineering Center

The Knowledge Engineering Center was founded in 1999 with a goal of bringing technology and training together. With roots in curriculum development, Knowledge Engineering was an early proponent of eLearning adoption, developing the FreedomLearn™ Learning Management System (LMS) and beginning the service of converting curriculum for web delivery. In line with this focus, the Knowledge Engineering Center began expanding its line of software products, to include an online testing system (FreedomTest™ ), online scheduling system, personnel records management tools, and the comprehensive FreedomPro™ Training Portal.

Our software products are in use across the United States, in local governments, State and Federal agencies, corporations, and trade associations. The Knowledge Engineering Center is a center of excellence within the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), a member of the Texas A&M System, headquartered in College Station, Texas.
